After tipping the skis on edge and transferring the weight, now we… well, we wait… for the skis to turn, but while doing so, we need to balance on that outside ski. We already hinted at how this balance is created with the upper body: as the lower body moves inside the turn to tip the skis on edge, the upper body must compensate and tip to the outside of the turn, to maintain balance.
