How to fix the dreaded hip dump, a fault that most skiers are guilty of, when the skier uses the upper body (hips) to drag the skis into edge angles, as opposed to tipping using the feet:
To put it plainly, you have to "bend the knees" and "tip the feet" first! Please note that, as noted in hip dump, some of the reasons may be equipment-related (i.e. boots). Make sure to address those first.

Other ideas include working on a strong inside half, keeping the poles across the hips to detect if the inside hip tends to lean etc.
